Day 3: Home from the hospital and a total breastfeeding meltdown on my part. Matt panicked and considered going back to work later that afternoon rather than waiting out the week, but after a lactation consultant visited our home, peace returned.
Day 5: We find out Leila has jaundice, although it was quite obvious being that she was almost the color of a pumpkin. We have a baby tanning bed set up in the pack and play and she has to stay on this bed 24/7 unless feeding or being changed.
Day 9: The tanning bed is packed up and taken away!
Day 15: 2 week doctor appointment goes well. Leila is gaining weight like a champ!
Day 23: Leila earns the nickname "Hungry Hippo" because when she is hungry she MUST be fed immediately! Sound familar anyone? Matt and I have no one to blame but ourselves.
Day 28: Projectile poop. Enough said.
