March On

Well, as March continues, so does my morning/afternoon/night sickness, and so does Leila's energy and development. She is truly becoming her own individual right before my eyes, and it makes me laugh one minute, frustrated the next, and a little sad the next. She has such a great sense of humor, a sweet disposition, and then a touch of fiestiness to keep things real interesting.

Here is how our week has played out:

Leila loves her books and loves to sit by the window to read all her favorites

No, this is not Leila's tryout picture for Toddlers and Tiaras. My mom sent a bikini that was mine at 2 years old and I thought I'd try it out on Leila. Too cute!

Leila joined me for Haven's baby shower...

We had some friends over...here is Leila leading the group in a hunt for Bob

Leila's cousin Chloe had her 2nd birthday party this past weekend. I cannot believe how big these girls are! Leila isn't exactly the most outgoing little girl and spent most of her time doing her own thing or observing all the other toddlers run around like wild animals. She had a great time though and is still talking about "Chloe's Day" and the cake, of course.

In true form, Leila loved the eating portion of the festivities the most...

What's a party without bubbles?!
