Even though Leila was feeling feverish on her birthday, that didn't stop us from continuing the celebration. Matt came home early from work so we could open some presents and have a pizza party!

Post-birthday we were very busy getting ready for our upcoming trip and also getting our condo ready to sell. In addition, we found out Leila's fever was caused by roseola, a common viral infection that results in a full body rash. Luckily, the rash wasn't too bad and she was feeling back to normal by Saturday afternoon. Oh, and we also packed in Leila's 1 year doctor appointment this week, in which she continues to be growing and developing perfectly! She now weighs about 19 1/2 lbs and is 30 3/4 inches tall...in the 95% for height!
Sunday we were finally able to relax a little and took Leila (okay, and ourselves) to a nice lunch at my work, followed by an afternoon trip to our favorite water park.
