Build it and they will come...

With our basement just getting finished on October 4th, we immediately put it to good use.  First, a visit from Oma and Papa Chuck, and then just as they left, Auntie Kelsey and Uncle Mike came for a long weekend!  The kids soaked in all the attention they could handle!

With fall and lovely temps, also come the leaves.  Many, many, leaves.

Next up, The Searles visit and our annual trip to a pumpkin patch!

Both kids LOVED the petting zoo area.
Uncle Mike was nice enough to spend lots of time walking Natey around to all the animals

Leila loved the ponies.
Here she is on the first of two rides.
(Natey cried and wanted off immediately!)

Not sure which is bigger...32 week belly or the pumpkin?

while Leila tried out the spinning apple ride with the boys!

Back home, we decorated and carved the pumpkins...

Finished products!  Of course, one is a princess pumpkin.

Also, we finally made it to Natey's 2 year appt. This adorable, sweet boy of mine is weighing in at 30 lbs and is nearly 37 inches!  That's 74% in weight and 95% in height!  Such a big boy...

  1. every morning mike has woken up and asked where 'his babies' are. if they go missing in the middle of the night, you'll know where to find them.
