Our annual trip to the desert has come to an end, and we successfully completed our first vacation as a family of four! Leila enjoyed lots of pool time, floating in a lazy river, tons of attention from Oma and Papa, and spending all her waking hours outside. Natey enjoyed his first plane ride (he was fabulously behaved), his first dip in the pool (he was completely unimpressed), tons of attention from Oma and Papa, and lots of bouncy chair time on the patio. As for Matt and I, we enjoyed sharing the kids with Oma and Papa while we enjoyed some adult beverages with friends, and also spending quality time together in the Arizona sun. Funny enough, upon our return, we were pleasantly surprised by summer-like temps that felt even warmer than our vacation weather! So I guess vacation continues!
