These past couple of weeks have been full of summer fun and lots of laughs (Leila is quite the comedian!). Some of of her newest phrases that have us laughing are, "Stop talking mommy," and "Matt, bring me my bottle please!" Yes, she actually calls Matt by name when requesting her bottle in the morning! Anyway, besides Leila being smart, cute, and funny, I'm getting bigger and the baby is really starting to move around a lot. He certainly has my attention with all his kicks and punches! And as we continue to settle in to our new surroundings and become more acquainted with a suburban lifestyle, we are starting to realize just how great it is to be where we are.
Last week we participated in the annual Rob Koranda Scholarship fundraiser, in honor of Matt's friend who passed away. The dinner celebration really brought out the party girl within Leila! We could barely drag her off the dance floor!

Fourth of July weekend we enjoyed our first family trip to Ribfest! It was ridiculously hot, but Leila had a great time listening to live music and of course, eating ribs!

More backyard fun...this time with the tent. Can you tell we spend a lot of our time outside these days? I guess that's what happens when you've been cooped up in a 3rd story condo for 4 years!
Also this week, Baby Anna (and mommy Haven) paid us a visit! Leila loves playing and kissing Anna...so cute!
so funny. Lola has taken to calling me by my first name as well; usually when she isn't happy with something I've done. It's hilarious and annoying all at the same time.
