Here, There, Everywhere.

We've been busy and all over the place this past week or so! Starting with Super Bowl Sunday, we moved our family out to the burbs to accommodate Grandma and Grandpa Feske, who braved coming to our arctic tundra just to see Leila. She really has some special powers!

After a few days, Matt and I decided to get the heck out of the -30 degree temps and hit up the fun and sun in Mexico!



Unfortunately, the "fun" part of the equation was slow to take off, as we both got sick and ended up hardly taking advantage of the all inclusive portion of our stay. In addition, we missed Leila more than we thought we would and couldn't wait to get back to her...oh and it kinda helped that by the time we came back it was in the 50s!

On the other hand, she hardly missed us with so much fun to be had with Gma and Gpa...







Really getting in to this episode of Sesame Street...



We finally got back to our home in the city on Wednesday and Leila couldn't have been happier! She actually kept asking for home the last couple of days out in the burbs, and even asked to get in her crib, just to sit, once we got home! I guess there really is no place like home.
