There's a lot of "moving on" going on around here. We've moved on to the summer season, filled with park playdates, splashing in the pool, sprinklers, closed windows with the A/C pumping, and lots and lots of grilling. We've also moved on from Leila's one piece green swimsuit that seemed to fit her the same for the past 2 years. It's kinda fun seeing her in something different, although I think the suit may surface again sooner than later as Bubby is close to fitting in it. Speaking of Chubs, he's moving on too. Well, I should say, he'd like to be moving on...he is so close to crawling, but can't quite get the knee movement down, so instead he'll push himself backwards, roll where he wants to go, or just use all the strength he can muster to drag himself with his arms. Let's just say, I'm enjoying the last of my days with one immobile child.
The best part of all this moving on, is that we aren't actually
moving. This time last year we had just moved into our house and were feeling unsettled. This summer, I'm looking forward to actually being able to enjoy all the summer festivities without all the trips to Home Depot (although, I'm sure there will still be plenty of those!)
