Winter Came Late and Other Stories

So, it finally happened. Winter arrived. Oh we all knew it was inevitable, but I somehow still felt surprised by it. Although it's funny, I think it's that west coast girl deep within me that still gets a little excited for a big snowstorm. And with kids, that excitement becomes more about their new experiences than my own thrill from making the perfect snow angel. (Of course someone has to show Leila and Nate how to do one...)

Now of course I should have a picture of Leila doing a snow angel, but alas, I don't. Instead, just some playing in the snow/shoveling snow/warming up with hot chocolate pictures...
